Hi! My name is Tatum Clements and I am the owner of To The T Public Relations. My favorite things are the beach, antiques, music, hiking, sushi, traveling, passionfruit, seashells, and most of all my family and friends.  

 

I grew up in a small town in central Virginia and lived for summer vacations to the Outer Banks. I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies, and then moved to the Outer Banks to work and prepare for graduate school. In 2007, I ran into an old friend from high school and today he is the love of my life! Jamie and I moved across the world to attend Bond University on the Gold Coast of Australia. While in school, I worked for a public relations firm and in Bond University's marketing department.  Jamie and I traveled as much as possible in the two years we lived there. I graduated Bond University with a Master of Communication with a focus on Public Relations. Shortly after returning home, we moved back to the Outer Banks, this time to Hatteras Island. As the Director of Operations for a growing resort in Avon, I took on a multitude of responsibilities over five years including marketing, public relations, rebranding, new acquisitions, human resources, and event planning.

 

In 2014, Jamie and I found out we were expecting our first baby, and I decided it was time for a change. I took time off to focus on the people I love. On July 7, 2015 Lennox James Elwood came earth side and filled our life with unexplainable love and joy. Something about becoming a mother made me want to own my own business more than ever. I wanted to utilize my degrees and work experience, be able to watch my child grow up, and fulfill my dream of being a business owner. In 2016, the foundation of To The T Public Relations was laid. Building a business and being a mom is no joke!

Because EVERYTHING in my little world must be done To The T, it took over a year to get all my i's dotted and t's crossed. In 2017, To The T Public Relations officially opened for business. Today, I am proud to represent clients all over the world.
